iZotope Lite for Ignition Pack 2 Owners on Mac OS X


The following updates are available for owners of iZotope Lite included on the Ignition Pack 2 and Ignition Pack 2 Pro installation DVDs:
  • Ozone 3 Lite v3.1.5
  • Spectron Lite v1.1.4
  • Trash Lite v1.1.4

Compatibility



These versions add compatibility with Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) and are backwards compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger). Universal Binaries, compatible with Pro Tools 7.0-7.4.2 for PowerPC- and Intel-based Mac systems.

Known Issues



Using Spectron Lite with Pro Tools Default Hardware Buffer Size Settings Results in CPU Errors (Item #101581)
  • Spectron Lite will not operate efficiently at default Hardware Buffer Size (H/W Buffer Size) settings. This results in CPU errors (such as -9128). The workaround is to open the Playback Engine dialog and reset the H/W Buffer Size to 1024 or higher. This should eliminate these types of CPU usage errors.
